Welcome to Aguiar da Beira – Portugal. Welcome to the fifth edition of the Aguiar da Beira ‘O’ Meeting!
For this edition of ABOM, we will maintain the format of the 2025 programme, with four events, including two World Ranking Events (WRE) and a TrailO competition (PreO Sprint).
Furthermore, ABOM 2027 is part of the Portuguese calendar for the Portuguese Forest Orienteering Cup Ranking and the Precision Orienteering Ranking.
We have favourable weather conditions for training throughout the winter. The likelihood of snowfall here is very low and, when it does snow, it usually melts within a few hours.
The Municipality of Aguiar da Beira, Ori-Estarreja and Oriented Aguiar are the main organisers of ABOM 2027, with the collaboration of the Portuguese Orienteering Federation and the International Orienteering Federation.
Expect favourable weather, stunning terrain, delicious cuisine and competitions in terrain that will be highly relevant to the 2028 European Orienteering Championships + World Cup, which will take place in Aguiar da Beira!
