Welcome to Aguiar da Beira \u2013 Portugal. Welcome to the fourth edition of Aguiar da Beira ‘O’ Meeting!<\/span><\/p>\n

ABOM will finally be returning to its roots \u2013 a World Ranking Event competition in Winter \u2013 and this will be the perfect event to prepare for the 2025 season.<\/span><\/p>\n

We believe that Aguiar da Beira and ABOM offer the best preparation for a National Team Athlete to get ready for WOC 2025<\/a> in Kuopio, Finland.<\/span><\/p>\n

We have highly technical terrains, with stunning pine forests, extensive bare rocks, and numerous rocky details. However, we share even more similarities with Kuopio 2025!<\/span><\/p>\n

The mappers for ABOM 2025 are Janne Weckman and Timo Joensuu, the same mappers as those in Kuopio!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Additionally, we enjoy favorable weather conditions for winter training. The likelihood of snow here is very low, and when it does snow, it typically melts within a few hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, the ABOM 2025 competitions will take place on the same map used for JWOC 2022 Middle<\/a> and Relay events.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the success of those remarkable competitions in November 2022, we eagerly anticipate seeing world-class athletes compete here once more.<\/span><\/p>\n

ABOM 2025 will feature four races, including two IOF World Ranking stages and one PreO competition. Additionally, ABOM 2025 will contribute to the Portuguese Foot-O and PreO Ranking.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The Aguiar da Beira Municipality, Ori-Estarreja, and Oriented Aguiar are the primary organizers of ABOM 2025, in collaboration with the Portuguese Orienteering Federation and the International Orienteering Federation.<\/span><\/p>\n
